Tibetan Terriers - Physical Description
Tibetan Terriers are compact, well-muscled, medium-sized dogs with a double slightly wavy coat and unique foot construction. Although the hair of a Tibetan Terrier is long, it has no doggy smell and the shedding is minimal. Their large, widely set, dark brown eyes and foreface are covered by abundant hair. The long eyelashes protect the eyes from the hanging hair, snow-blindness in the winter, and sand in the summer.

The purebred Tibetan Terriers are famous for the flat, round feet with a snowshoe effect. The scull is neither domed nor flat. The muzzle has a small beard. The white teeth are evenly placed and strong. The ears are loose and profusely feathered. Tibetan Terriers' undercoat sheds once a year and the outer coat every three years.
Tibetan Terriers - Temperament
Tibetan Terriers are known for the zest for life, agility, curiosity and mobility. They can be compared to smart, mischievous children, even in their old age, and they love to travel and explore new places. Another interesting feature of these dogs is that they are extremely sensitive and are able to sympathize to the mood of their owners. Tibetan Terriers are easy to train and don't require much exercise.
